l recently got the crossman tac 1 extreme break-barell.. Ive never used an air rifle before, let alone break barell.
I am wondering how to load it.

Break the barrel open and pull it down until it stops resisting, and is fully cocked. Insert the pellet into the breech (back end of the barrel). Close the barrel, take it off safety, and fire.

All you have to do is grab the rifle, put the saftey on, break the rifle.
You do this by putting one hand on the barrel and another on above the trigger. now push on the barrel and it should open, push it all the way down, and the barrel shoud be open. Now grab a lead pellet and stickit in the hole. Once you do that close the barrel, remove the saftey and shoot away!!
Also you could look at the manual just to make sure

put on safe, pull down the muzzle of the barrel all the way, just past 90 degrees, put pellet in pointy or flat end first, close barrel, aim, take off safe, fire. But you should get a little info from who ever you got it from, if it is new, read the manual. If you can not read, have someone read it to you.

The solid side of the pellet faces away from you and the cup side of the pellet faces toward you.

go to crossman.com & they have online manuals with the instructions on how to load it. might go to beeman.com & read there section on inaccuracies in airguns because it has a pretty detailed discription on how to shoot a spring gun well. spring guns r very good, but can have a bad experience with them if u dont understand the vibration of the spring in shooting them. drove me crazy for a while & l got rid of some good guns because l thought they were in accurate. l have also found that a good tap with the palm of my hand to the barrel, makes it easier to break open. hope this helps & have fun.
