okay l hunt and so do most of my friends. well l just noticed today that everyone of my friends who are outdoors people ethier chew or dip. so tell me if you use smokless tobbacco or not and if you do tell me whats your favoright mines a tie between grizzly mint and grizzly strait

l do not chew.

l believe it would be an immense generalization to assume that all, or most, men who enjoy hunting and fishing also either dip or chew. It would be like assuming that every office worker loves Starbucks.

Several of the guys l hunt with do one or the other, but several don't. l personally do not chew or dip. l go out with a thermos full of hot cider or coffee.

Grizzley mint is better than the straight it doesnt matter wat brand all of them go that way

l just got back into using smokeless tobacco again. l love Hawken Wintergreen. Ca not smell or taste the nicotine. Unlike Cope or Skoal.

l tried it once when l was 15YO, that was enough for me.

l quit smoking tobacco 5 years ago on January the 7th. l have never chewed or dipped. l tried it & did not like it. IF YOU ARE SMART YOU WOULD LEAVE IT ALONE. Tobacco is addictive. If u do not believe me then ask someone to stop smoking. Most people can not. l am in my 40 is & have smoked since l was about 15. 5 years ago l quit. l have nightmares about smoking again. l would never encourage anyone to even try it. Just because the club does it does not mean it makes u a man or an adult or acceptable. If u really want to prove u r a man go through life showing that people can not influence u into making stupid decisions like smoking, drinking, & drugs.

l do not chew or smoke. Its a nasty habit and the smoke stinks.

l have dipped copenhagen for over 30 years. As far as plug tobacco ''hard days work'' lasts the longest in my opinion.

as a hunter and a fisherman, l did for a long time. a lot of my friends did it too. then l had about three friends die in their early 30 is due to it. they left kids behind. l am not trying to preach to you, if you want to dip its your choice. l just can not do it anymore because i've seen how it effects people.

l do not use tobacco.

l remember once asking my mother (who grew up on a farm during the Great Depression) why so many farmers chewed. She said she thought it was because it was so dangerous to smoke in a barn or near a haystack. l then asked why they had to use tobacco at all! l do not think she had an answer for that.

If a person is already hooked on tobacco, l can see how they might turn to chewing as a substitute for smoking while out in the field. However, it seems silly to put a lot of effort into de-scenting ur clothes & then work up a tobacco scent that the deer r bound to associate with humans. A lot of people who use tobacco all the time (whether by smoking or chewing) do not seem to notice how strong the smell is, even to human noses. l would imagine that deer can smell it from the next county!

Only one guy l go hunting with chews. Everyone else either smokes cigarettes, or does nothing but drink, or like myself goes out with a tin of macanudo mini cigars.
