l love my Colt, but LMT and Noveske make some great rifles.What do you guys think?

there are several that make top quality AR's, l used to really like colt, but they play the marketing game too well and chaneged pin sizes etc, plus they caved on the anti gun policies of past presidents. So l do not buy colt brand anymore.

l own two bushmasters one is a 24 inch barreled target rifle & is dead on,the other is an mp4 model.it has the mininum length barrel to be legal,but l added a ak47 mussel break to both rifels & it realy made a big diffrance in recoil & soudn supresson,its tolerable to fire hundreds of shots in a day with out having ur ears ring for 2 days,but l think bushmasters has the best workmanship & selection of options available for serious shooters.i think if congress would quit messing with there defination of an assault rifel then a person might be able to buy militatry rifel barrels for replacement of worn out ones & they would be cheaper.but as is any part made for an m16 is ilegal for any newly made ar15 even the stock is illegal realy one of the stupidest thing they could have done.i think the ar10 might be the better gun because it shoots a larger round & has more penitration.i might get one some day,hope l have been some help,but l like my bushmaster more than others l have seen

l own & like nice simple few to no feature AR15's... Like this Rock River Arms. Mine has not given me any trouble - What more can u ask for?

Except for a few cheap brands most of these rifles r decent. Rock River, DPMS, Bushmaster all make a decent rifle..

l have one of these cheap Olympic Arms rifles chambered in 7.62X39MM & its a blast to own...

l make the best AR's.

And l can tell u - every AR from every one of the major manufacturers is different. You need to check & test each one is upper/lower mating & trigger. You can pull a standard grade rifle from one box & it has a match like trigger - pull another strandard grade & it has a rough trigger.

It is only when u get into the Service Match rifles these companies start to put some additional workmanship into them.

My preference is the Olympia Service Match Rifle. So far this is the best AR l have handled & disassembled in 20+ years of NRA Highpower Rifle competition & years of military working with M16's. Colt or Bushmaster would be my next choice.

l shoot a lot and l train a lot. You go to any military or LEO training event and people have AR is you begin to notice a pattern. You buy a colt you have much less rate of getting a lemon that anything else.
