The bill that was introduced only has 3 exceptions to prosecution for a minor being in possession of a ''qualifying'' firearm.

None of the exceptions have anything to do with sport shooting or hunting.

This bill makes it a 10 year prison term if you teach your kid how to hunt or allow them to touch a firearm.
