about half a case of ammo. you do not need toys for your rifle; you need ammo and practice.

Besides magazines, l might suggest a Houge grip. l put one on my Doublestar DSC EM-4 carbine & almost immediately got one for my 20 year old Colt Sporter. They r great. l bought mine at a local gun shop for less than $20 each.

Also, l bought this little item at a gun show for $19. Most excellent modification. Unlike others l have seen out there for less, it is smooth, has a good finish, & no sharp edges. l really wish l had bought 2 that day at the show. l will be looking for one at the next.

l would say spare magazines. Possibly a nice leather military style target sling (assuming it is a full length AR rifle).

l recommend not ''junking-up'' your rifle. Folksbuyy those things and then attach picatiny rails and all sorts of do-dads that they think ''look really cool''. What they end up with is a bulky gun that is barely usable.
