l own a Ruger Super New Model Blackhawk 45 CAL stainless with 10 1/2 barrel. It was purchased roughly around 1985 or so and is in good shape. l had a gun dealer tell me pnce that there was no such gun (with a 10 1/2'' barrel) but l got the gun and the box it came in too! How much is it worth?

Bloody good question. If it came from Ruger as a .45 Colt and that is what the box label and markings on it say. You likely have something that is probably pretty rare. I'd suggest contacting Ruger and seeing if they can give you more info. If it is all true it is probably worth a bit more then any of the .44s but you'd need a collector who wanted it and the provenance to back it up to get a high price for it.
