The Ruger SR9 is a very nice pistol. Smooth shooting, great grip feel. l did have to get used to the newer (post-recall) trigger but it is an awesome handgun. l got mine for about 440.

l like it better than their P series; not as bulky.

It is too early to tell how this pistol will pan out over the next ten years. If a pistol can make it more than 10 years than it is a good gun.

There was a recall on them, but once its fixed they're a very nice gun. I'd say on par with the other hammerless automatics, like the Glock is and the XD's. Ruger has always made a great gun, l own a P89DC and a GP100 and have never been disapointed.

With two major recalls against the Ruger SR-9, the first covering EVERY ONE of the original production run, l would not trust this Glock clone as far as l could throw it. l would not have one for FREE!

l love my SR9.The best advice l can give you is to hold and handle one.shoot it if you can. Like l said l love my SR9
