l just got a Mossberg 500 .410 for Christmas for squirrels and rabbits any reviews or oppinions?

l hear thier very light and swingable, i'v got a 12 gauge on order.

yes use 3 inch mags ok in at least number 5-6 shot good hunting thanks edie got my first with a single 410 ,,,,,,,

The Mossberg 500 is an ok gun. l have one in a 12 gauge. My .410 is a Remington 870 Express, and l also have a couple Cooey Model 840's. Be aware that the .410 case is a pretty small capacity and it throws inconsitent patterns beyond 20 yards so keep your hunting distances close.

Nice present ---- The Mossberg 500 is a decent shotgun. The one you have chambered in .410 bore will leave you wanting a bit -- Its not a real power house shotgun but for birds and squirrels you wont be disappointed.. After a while surely look into the Mossberg 500 chambered in 12 or 20 gauge..
