l want a clip that holds 25-50 rounds and l need help finding one that does not cause problems.

The very best ones for the money r the 25 round butler creek with steel lips but they r expensive at $27 a pop. l have two & l will say they someimtes do fir rather tightly & u may get a few jams the first time u take them out. They also have some cheap $10 eagle ones & l have 3 of those & although they r cheap & I've beat the lips on my to crap they work as well as my butler creek ones.

Steel lips are the way to go. Butler Creek Hot Lips are not bad, but get touchy. l have a couple that jam up when l load a full 25 rounds in em.

Good luck shopping around. There r a lot of choices as l am sure u r aware but l have to agree with the others, stick with a steel feed lipped magazine. Sometimes the plastic ones will work but due to the variety of different manufactures & different rifle configurations & quality controls it is hard to pin one down for ur particular 10/22. Also the higher capacity mags r sometimes hard to load to capacity at first but with a little break in will work fine. This is one time where it is true that u get what u pay for. Ruger factory 10 round mags work the best & there r clips u can buy that attach 2 or four magazines together. I've tried Butler creek & Ramline mags that work okay but u can not beat the factory mags for fit & function. And stay away from the drum (circular) 90 round mags, they r a waste of money, at lease for me they were.
