They make a good gun.

l personally think they are junk. ALL GLOCK HERE, best all-around weapon in the game. IMHO

They are a well made gun. I'd compare them to the ruger P series, clunky and ugly, but with good reliability.

l do not know who thinks Kahr r cheaply made.

When the first K9 hit the market, people liked it. No one ever claimed it was cheaply made. People said it was reasonably priced, & hefty for a pocket pistol (which is good, absorbs more kick) & the very first ones the chamber was kind of tight on, but that is the only serious complaint l have ever heard about Kahr. The people who do not buy them r usually looking for higher magazine capacity, or a lighter gun, or both.

Do not buy a Kahr. Save up for a Glock. There is no substitute for Glock Perfection. Check out the Glock 29. The 10mm is an awesome round.

Their guns are good stuff.
Some of their smaller 9mm may be too small for the recoil.

Kahr pistols do fit the hand nicely.

I've been tempted to purchase one of them for years. l just have not gotten around to it yet. :::sigh:::

l prefer a gun with an exposed hammer . kahr does not offer a good selection , l prefer sig-sauer or h & k . good guns , and a good reputation !!

They are perfect for what they are made for. They are a close range defense weapon for concealment.real thin.thinner then glock can ever dream of getting.they are super relieable and made of the highiest quality made in america and are really accurate for how small they are.not one bad quality if your looking for a pesonal defense weapon

cheaply made, not at all. they r built as well as any striker gun. from personal experiance l can tell u they r far better than any semi-auto smith & wesson puts out. l carry a CW9 when Its difficult or uncomfortable to conceal anything else. in my experience Kahrs r pretty much strictly a concealed carry gun. they r very light (polymer frame models) & very slim so they r very comfortable carry (one the most comfortable actually) & do not print as easily. however what makes them good concealed carry guns does not make them good at the range. they r small & light so they r real snappy, my kahr 9mm barrel climbs faster than any of my .40 or .45s. the short sight radius means that u run out sights at about 50 feet. l find the grip to be a little small for me but a hogue hand all jr. solved it & helped take care of the rather sharp checkering on the grip. I've never had any problems, the few I've heard of mostly involved user error (they have a very steep feed ramp & strong main recoil springs to compensate, if the forward motion of the slide is inhibited in any way u get feed problems, learn to sling shot the slide properly & no problems) & one of the early production runs (polymer frames) had barrel peening problems but kahr took care of them. l also have heard of people with less than perfect technique having real problems with the .40 s&w & the M line (bug guns, pm & km lines) but thats back to user error, it is not the guns fault if the user can not control it.

field striping them is pretty much a three handed ordeal until u get about 500-600 rounds through them, they're built almost as tight as Sig. Glock offers nothing to compete with kahr, they have the same problem that H&K has when it comes to CC guns, fat & blocky & if u have to carry all day r moderatly active they can get a little uncomfortable, l know cause most of the time l carry h&k p2000sk. if u want something to compare to a kahr check out the roughbough r9, kel-tec (is cheaply made) & the sig p239 (bigger) sig p232 (same size lot less power) walther ppk (same as sig p232) & the new walther pps.

Here is my two cents. l own more firearms than l care to freely admit. Most were purchased new. A few r family heirlooms. l just sent my first gun back for warranty work ever. My wife bought me a Auto Ordnance 1927a1 deluxe for Christmas. I've been drooling on it for a couple of years now. l know this is not a Kahr handgun, but they r owned & made by Kahr. It jammed every other shot. Upon disassembly, l was amazed at the tooling marks on the bolt & receiver. l have never seen a gun with such poor fitting of the wood to metal. And to top it off, Kahr ships this gun out with a refurbished wwI l surplus magazine. That is right, a $1400 msrp gun (mine was $899 new on sale) that comes with used clips. From what I've read & heard now from others, this is typical of the new Tommy guns. They say it will be about 6 weeks before l get it back, but everyone that has been in my shoes says it will be closer to 3 months. About half of them said their guns still did not work when they got them back. As for Kahr handguns, l really do not have an educated opinion, but I'd never own another Kahr based on the experience I've had with my Auto Ordnance.

Kahrs and not cheaply made guns. l rented a CW9 a couple months ago. l liked the way it felt and shot. l was deciding between my 'short list' of 9mms and ended up getting the CZ 2075 RAMI.
