Up to what yardage is it accurate and l would like to know some more detail bout the gun.
l wanna shoot rabbits, squirrels,possoms and other things like that from 10 yards to 50 yards. Is it accurrate enough to hit thoughs animals at those distances.

the accuracy of the gun seems to be in the 3 MOA range. It is definately not a good long range prarie dog, but if ur varmints r possums in the woods, rabbits in the lettuce patch, rats at the dump, feral cats fighing with & harming pet cats, or a variety of 'Varmints' then the gun is probably good to about 75 yards, maybe 100 yards.

the plus is it is a cool looking gun, the minus is if u r shooting varmints, they can be taken just as easily with a 22LR or barring that a nice 22 magnum, & 22LR ammo is going to be a LOT cheaper.

But buy what is fun, enjoy it, & be safe. Nothing wrong with wanting a 9mm carbine just for the fun cool value, & use if for plinking or varmint control. And while I'd prefer a good 12 gauge for home defense, a 9mm carbine is much better than a 22LR when it comes to home defense.

l bought a Hi-Point 9mm carbine a year ago. l was also looking at a Beretta but did some research on both of them. From what l read in the reviews the hi point was a better gun, so l bought one and have not been disappointed yet. l would look at the hi point as an option as well. It is fairly accurate and dependable as h***.

Lousy choice for varmints, inaccurate, low velocity,
and 9mm makes little sense in a long gun anyway.
It is a silly little 'assault rifle wannabe', not much good for anything.
For small varmints you're better off with one of the
magnum rim-fires.
You do not need an auto-loader.
Get a bolt action and learn to hit with the first shot.

l own a Hi-Point carbine in 9mm, & have 2 buddies with Beretta Storms. I've shot both guns extensively, & u really can not go wrong either way. The Beretta has some nicer bells & whistles, the Hi-Point is bare bones. Both r surprisingly accurate out to about 50 yards.

9mm is not really a respected varmint cartridge, though. Depending on what varmints frequent ur part of the world, u may be better off with a decent .22 or .17. Or, if you're shooting prairie dogs at 200 yards, something in high-velocity center-fire rifle. .22-250 comes to mind.

l love the 9mm carbines for plinking. They're fantastic on steel at short - medium range. they'd be perfectly serviceable as a home defense gun. they'd do well defending yourself against a dog pack. Really would not be my first choice for varmint control, though.

l have shot them many times and l would go for an AR they will be about the same price and are much better guns.

Beretta is not the gun company it used to be. The older stuff is fine, but the newer guns have problems.

It reminds me of the Smith & Wesson guns. S&W went through several owners over the years.bangor punta, lear sigler, tompkins.every time they changed hands, the quality of their finished products changed. Loose cylinder lockup, machining marks on the metal, cheap stamped parts inside. That was the story with smith & wesson.

l think the european gun companies r using a lot of foreign labor to make their guns now. l am not sure, but from talking to friends that have visited overseas, alot of europeon businesses r using refugess from Bosnia & the other eastern nations to manufacture their products. The guns should read Made in Italy, by unskilled craftsmen from Albania.
