hello im21 and l live in cleveland ohio.i have always been a fan of weapons.i already own a collection of knives and a few swords,and now l wanna move up to guns.what l would like to know is does anybody know if there are any gunshows happing in the north east ohio area soon and what would be a avarage price for these weapons?

1.most important a AK-47 l have been a fan of this gun since l shot one at 15.i now have one tattood on my forarm andam planing on tattooing another one on my other forarm(for a matching set)

2 a colt 45

3.a pump action shotgun

See below for the link to the Bll Goodman Gun Show schedule. He has a few stops in OH. Hope one of them works out for you. You can also go to gunbroker & look at lots of guns & get a feel for pricing.

As for average pricing, u could spend a wide range of money on all of the items u listed. A tricked out AK can easily go for over $1,000 these days. Sounds crazy, but l have seen them priced at that. Same for 45 ACP Colts. There r literally hundreds of variations to choose from from dozens of makers. . For a pump shotgun u can get a Mossberg 500 new for $300 give or take. A Benelli Nova is more than that but a real step up in quality.

if you want a gun collection to shoot get ones that last if you want a gun collection to show off get cheap cool looking ones try to get the basics first

1:rifle
2:shot gun
3:pistol
4:revolver
5:ak-47
6: michene gun


after you get the basics get the rest

AK47- if u want a nice one (Arsenal, etc.) expect to pay $1000 now. A cheap one can be had for around $500.

Colt .45- what u want is a 1911A1. A good one now is any model by Springfield Armory. Their manufacturing has gotten really good over the last few years, & their price is decent. Colts r expensive & not very well made anymore (if u can get a 1970 is colt, please do!). Springfield: $600-1000

Pump shotgun- can not go wrong with a Remington 870 pump. You can get oen for $300-600 depending on model.

you may want to pick up some surplus weapons while they're cheap too- Mosin Nagant Rifles, russian capture K98 rifles, SKS, etc. It is a good way to start a collection cheaply.

From there, u can decide if u want to specialize in collecting a particular weapon type, or if u jus tbuy what u like. u will probably want a good revolver sometime too (S&W 686 plus!!)
